Pricing
You will kill this app. Most pre-PMF apps get killed — that's the job working, not failing. So GhostView doesn't charge you per app, and your unused synthesis credits move to whatever you build next.
Enough to find out whether watching real users changes what you build next.
Most builders
For the founder with real traffic and no PMF yet. Every project you will ever ship is included.
For agencies and serial shippers running many client apps at once.
Everything is free during early access while we onboard builders one at a time. These are the prices that will apply when metering turns on — published now so you can decide whether the tool is worth it at full price, not just at zero. Founding users keep the launch rate.
Why the model looks like this
The builder GhostView is for ships fast, gets a few hundred users from a launch post, learns the thing doesn't stick, and moves on. Priced per project, that story ends in a cancellation every single time — and the tool gets blamed for the app's death.
So the unit is the builder. One seat covers every app you will ever point it at. Synthesis credits you don't spend roll forward twelve months and can be burned on a project that didn't exist when you bought them. Abandoning an app costs you nothing here, because abandoning apps is what the job requires.
The retention question we care about is whether you keep building — not whether this particular app survives.
The questions you were about to ask
No. You're paying for a seat, not a project. Your unused synthesis credits roll over for 12 months and can be spent on any project in your account — including the one you haven't started yet. The plan follows you, not the app.
Use it, honestly — if what you need is clips and heatmaps on public traffic, Clarity is excellent and free and we can't beat that price. GhostView is for a different job: gated invite links for apps that aren't public yet, and synthesis that reads every session at once and tells you the pattern. Clarity hands you 47 recordings. We hand you the three sentences you'd have written after watching all of them.
PostHog is a genuinely great product and its free tier is generous. It also assumes you know which events to define — which is exactly the assumption that breaks when an LLM generated your app and you can't name a single component in it. GhostView auto-captures and then reasons over the result. If you already have an events taxonomy, PostHog is probably the better tool.
You keep read access and full JSON export of everything already recorded for 90 days. We don't hold your data hostage to a renewal — export is a first-class endpoint, not a support ticket.
Per builder. Point it at as many domains as you want. We don't count your apps because counting your apps would mean charging you more for experimenting, and experimenting is the entire job before PMF.
